Cover of the Week Starblazer from Dundee’s own comics publishing giant D.C Thomson was a pocket book sized comic that features some amazing sci-fi cover art. I couldn’t find who created this cover but the story inside is from Rob Carter and Jaimie Ortiz. Other comics greats to work on this title included Ian Kennedy and Grant Morrison. Another great Marvel UK artist was Bob Wakelin. He was maybe best known for classsic video game art but he produced a number of amazing covers and posters for Marvel UK. Captain America 37, November 1981 Marvel UK started taking advantage of improved print production technology as the 80’s began.
